 Conley, Sartan, and I have been working over the past few months to bring the UNSCDF Anstice Brigade into its next formation for Reach.
The first step is now complete. The 101st and 502nd ODST Battalions have been retired. All remaining personnel have been transferred into a new conglomerate. Welcome back to the party 18th ODST Battalion members. We hope you enjoy your stay. The next step, re-opening of the 83rd Marines Training Division, will be completed later today or this week.
Lock and load, watch your corners, and prepare for a hot drop ladies and gentlemen. We've got a full schedule ahead of us. The UNSCDF Anstice Brigade will see you in Reach.

Yea, yea, yea... The Halo Reach Beta is live and kicking. What have we been doing? What else? We've been shredding through the matchmaking system and testing their game. A lot of people have different opinions concerning the Beta, but what Bungie game hasn't led to that? In the coming months, we will see how Reach turns out. Don't forget to give them constructive feedback at Bungie.net.

 One final call for all gamers is being sounded off around the net. Halo 2 and all other X-Box LIVE online games (non-360) are having their systems pulled down April 15, 2010. These are the last days anyone will ever be able to play Halo 2 over LIVE as we did in the past. Let's give the game that brought us together one final hurrah before it enters into oblivion. Go purchase a copy of Halo 2 if you don't have one, and download all the FREE maps again (they're all free). I'll see you on the killing fields of Coagulation, skyscrapers of Headlong, and the train tracks of Terminal. | |

Halo Reach: A Glimpse Back |

 Over the next week, information dealing with Halo Reach will start showing up around the globe. This will be due to various magazines releasing tidbits of info here and there. Be prepared. Here is something Bungie dropped earlier this past week in response to a playground they would be fighting on in Reach.
"The arena we’ll be scrapping on has some new coverings draped over its previously bare bones structures, too. Metal catwalks now look decidedly more realistic, showing the scrapes and bends you’d expect from a high volume of load-bearing foot traffic, small flecks of paint chipped away along well worn, and sometimes bent and sagging hand rails. Dirt looks decidedly dirty and the water…ho, boy the water! Well, there isn’t any. Not a drop to drink. The entire map is bone dry." | |

The Beginning of a New Era |

If you haven't heard the scuttlebutt or figured it out by now, the Sovereign Guard are making their way over to this website. They should be all accounted for no later than Thanksgiving. If you see them, treat them properly as you always have. A much more detailed explanation, Q&A, and write-up will be available later next week.
In their arrival, they bring us something we can all benefit from. A chatbox similar to one Geeks has been working on for us for about a month. The difference is this...there's fully operational, pretty, and a lot more functional in some aspects. Furthermore, you are able to view it without having to log into the site. Go check it out. It's under your navigation panel called the Battlenet.

Halo 3: ODST is now available for purchase. If you have not done so already, consider picking up this game. It contains all 24 Halo 3 multiplayer maps on a separate disc as well as the actual ODST game itself. I'll catch you on Longshore or in Firefight. Hop to it.
